Luca Scotti completed his Ph.D. at the University of Chieti-Pescara, Italy, and his BSc. Chemistry at the University of Milan, Italy. He is a Professor of Biochemistry at the Department of Medicine, Oral and Biotechnology (DSMOB), Italy. He has over 35 publications that have been cited more than 300 times and his h-index publication is 12. he Has been a member of the editorial board of several renowned journals.

For the past 8 years, he has been involved in nanotechnology and the synthesis of nanoclusters. He has filed several patents and obtained scientific awards. he is the founder of a nanotechnology company for the study and synthesis of nanostructured compounds to be used in the biomedical field. The research on the mechanisms of action of nanomaterials in the biochemistry area is the main objective of the study.
