Profile-Reynier Suardiaz

Currently, Assistant professor at the Department of Physical Chemistry, Complutense University of Madrid. BSc in Chemistry, specialization in Bioinformatics and PhD in Physical Chemistry. He has been a Postdoc at the University of Cambridge and later at Autonomous University of Barcelona, Marie Curie Experienced Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow at King´s College London, Research Associate at the University of Bristol, Senior Research Fellow at the University of Portsmouth and Assistant Professor at the University of Havana. His research revolves around the combination of Computational Chemistry methods with experimental data to tackle chemical, spectroscopic and biochemical problems. This includes Quantum Chemistry, hybrid QM/MM and Molecular Dynamics applied to enzyme catalysis, NMR spectroscopy and protein structure and dynamics.
