I am Professor in Physical Chemistry Department, National Research Centre since 29th Dec 2020-till now. I hold B. Sc. in Chemistry in 2000 from Faculty of science, Cairo University. I awarded M.Sc. in Chemistry from Faculty of science, Cairo University on Nov 2006 while my Ph.D. was hold on Jan 2010 in Physical Chemistry from Faculty of science, Ain-Shams University. Also, I awarded two local prizes in 2012 and in 2017 and a patent on 2019. I have supervised on 4 MSc students. My research interests focus on physical chemistry, surface chemistry, catalysis, materials sciences, chemical engineering and nanotechnology fields for synthesis and characterization of Nano-Engineered Carbon Materials (NECMs) such as activated carbons, carbon gels, carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofibers, graphene oxide and graphene to be used in adsorption, catalysis and energy storage applications. About 80 articles were published in international ranked journals.
